About this policy
JTSC (JT Strategic Consulting) provides operational consulting, workflow resources and digital products for businesses. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through our websites, forms, bookings, purchases and communications.
For privacy questions, requests or complaints, contact [email protected], with “Privacy” in the subject line.
Information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we collect:
- Your name, email address and, if you choose to provide it, phone number.
- Business details such as your firm name, firm size and the operational challenges you describe.
- Information you provide when requesting a resource, booking a call or working with us.
- Purchase and service records, including the product or service ordered, payment status, transaction reference and information needed for billing.
- Messages, feedback and records of your communication preferences and consent.
- Technical information generated when you use our online services, such as IP address, browser or device information and activity needed to operate and protect those services.
Please provide only information needed for your request. Do not send passwords, banking credentials, tax returns or confidential client documents through a public lead form or ordinary text message. If an engagement requires confidential information, we will agree on an appropriate secure channel.
How we use information
We use information to:
- Respond to inquiries and deliver resources you request.
- Schedule calls, send relevant service updates and provide consulting services.
- Process purchases, deliver digital products and maintain billing records.
- Maintain customer records and understand your stated service needs.
- Send marketing communications where we have the required consent or another lawful basis.
- Record and respect consent, withdrawal and unsubscribe requests.
- Operate, secure and troubleshoot our services, and meet applicable legal obligations.
Submitting a form, requesting a free resource or making a purchase does not automatically subscribe you to every marketing channel. Optional marketing consent is separate from information necessary to fulfil your request.
Email and text messages
Where you have agreed to receive them, we may send email or text messages about JTSC resources, workflow tips, products and consulting services. Appointment or request-related messages are managed separately from promotional communications.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the message or by contacting [email protected]. For text messages, reply STOP to withdraw SMS consent or HELP for assistance. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Consent to promotional messages is not a condition of purchase.
Withdrawing marketing consent does not prevent us from communicating as necessary about an existing purchase, service, legal requirement or request through an appropriate permitted channel. If you withdraw permission to use a channel needed for a service, we will discuss an alternative where practicable.
SMS phone numbers and SMS opt-in records are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Providers that operate messaging services for us may process them to provide that service.
Service providers and disclosures
We use GoHighLevel/LeadConnector for functions such as customer records, forms, booking and communications. Stripe processes payments. These providers may process information necessary to provide their services, subject to their own applicable terms and privacy notices.
Payment card information is submitted through the payment provider's checkout. Please do not send card numbers or security codes to JTSC by email, text or lead form.
We may disclose information to other providers engaged to operate our services, to professional advisers where needed, or where disclosure is required or permitted by law. We limit disclosures to the relevant purpose. We do not sell or rent personal information for another organization's marketing.
Information may be processed outside your province or Canada by service providers. While in another jurisdiction, it may be subject to that jurisdiction's laws and lawful access requirements. Contact us if you would like information about the providers involved in your interaction with us.
Cookies and similar technologies
Our websites and embedded tools may use cookies or similar technologies to support functions such as forms, bookings, sessions and checkout. Browser settings can control or delete cookies; restricting them may affect those functions.
If optional analytics or advertising technologies are used, we will identify their purposes and provide appropriate notices and choices where required. Optional tracking is not a condition of receiving a requested resource.
Retention and protection
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including providing services, keeping required business records, resolving disputes and documenting consent and withdrawal. Different records may have different retention requirements. We will delete, anonymize or securely dispose of information when it is no longer needed, subject to applicable obligations.
We use safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of information, including limiting authorized access and using approved systems for confidential material. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and requests
You may ask about our handling of your information, request access or correction, withdraw consent, or ask about deletion by emailing [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Some requests may be limited by legal requirements, another person's rights or records we are required to retain. We will explain an applicable limitation.
We will review privacy complaints and respond in accordance with applicable requirements. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the appropriate provincial privacy authority.
